The Citizenship Chronicles, #5
I just checked my bank balance – the “citizenship”
check was cashed!!! That’s got to be a good sign, right? I mean, they wouldn’t
take my money if my paperwork was wonky, would they? Right, Manuel (?)

Have been following the chronicles. Two comments: 1. Manuel (?) Cantreras probably works in the mail room, so your lanky Germanic fellow could still be the one processing your application. 2. I want to believe that cashing the check is a good sign, but a friend of mine just got a call from the DMV. DMV: Sorry we can't help you, but we never got your form. Friend: Really? Because you cashed the check that it was attached to!
Don't want to make you nervous--but I do want you to keep your expectations real. ;-)
